They are 18% away from releasing the first alpha release of HaikuOS. I'm really excited to go back to this system. . . had my BeBox fired up recently and was reminded how much the world lost.
I've been using Haiku as much as possible myself...seems very stable...more like beta quality. I am having a problem with Beam crashing frequently. I also would like to use SoundPlay under Haiku but it doesn't seem to work (I have a streaming radio station on our internal network under BIYS that we access). Haiku is getting very close to everyday use...very proud of our developers work!
